Plants thrive with AquaGrit on its own, or mixed with other gravels.
A clay-based gravel, enriched with trace elements – it is ideal in aquaria where good plant growth is required, or for use with fish who require a lower pH such as discus. Being lime-free it will not affect the pH of the water, and it is also free from nitrates & phosphates. The porous structure enables plant roots to develop by allowing oxygen and nutrients to penetrate the gravel bed more easily.
