Algosol Cool Plus is an anti algae formula for use in aquariums with severe algae problems and can be safely used in all aquatic environments. Algosol Cool Plus is a refrigerated product which eliminates the need for preservatives such as formalin and is the only anti-algae product that does not contain copper, making it safe for use with freshwater crustaceans and marine systems.
The active ingredient ‘SpektroSorp’ alters the light wavelengths within the tank. This starves the algae of the light which they require, whilst still providing beneficial light for aquarium plants. Treats hair algea, green algae and weed algae. Also suitable for use in low pH systems.
